This site uses two essential cookies so the encrypted API session and your sign-in can work. It does not set advertising cookies.
dpdp_sid
Set when the browser completes the key exchange. It identifies the encrypted session. The AES key itself stays in the browser’s session storage, not in the cookie. The cookie is HttpOnly.
dpdp_auth
Set after you register or sign in. It carries the session token for the workspace. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. On this local site it is not marked Secure, because the site is served over HTTP on your machine. A production site on HTTPS should mark it Secure.
How long they last
The encrypted session is kept for about eight hours. The sign-in cookie is kept for about twelve hours. Closing the chat does not remove them. Signing out clears dpdp_auth.
Voice in Disha
The microphone and the speak button use your browser’s speech features. The audio is not uploaded as a recording. A recognised question is sent as text through the same encrypted API as a typed question.
